2004-2005 Phoenix Suns
The team that changed the game. The 2004-2005 took a 30-year-old Steve Nash and set him loose like a wildfire in California on a dry day. They scorched the league and ushered in the modern era of small ball. They brought the old school run and gun style back to the league after it all but vanished over the previous decade and a half. Joe Johnson, Amare Stoudamire, Shawn Marion, Leandro Barbosa, and a young on fire Quentin Richardson? 62 wins and a Conference playoff run. They lost to the eventual champion Spurs, but this team was so good. So, so good. I remember playing with them in the old ESPN Basketball, and now they are back in NBA 2K16.
