The Kid (Not A Squid)

As frustrating as it can be, these squids are rather adorable in their own way. Oftentimes, I will find myself in a series of Turf Wars with other Inklings who perform actions that are so obviously illogical, I’m convinced that someone let their kid play for them. These Inklings might shoot the ground right at their feet and nothing else; they might try to play Ranked Battle like a Turf War; or they’ll just run around the map, gleefully painting walls and swimming around without rhyme or reason.

As frustrating as it is to have a Kid on your team, there’s something delightful about watching a player who obviously has no experience or knowledge enjoy the game nonetheless. Cheer the Kids on whenever you see them. They may be a bit clueless now, but they’re the Squids of tomorrow.
