We’ve all been through that phase in Splatoon where we were still learning the ropes and trying to level up our equipment. For maximum points, you need to cover as much turf as possible in Turf Wars, and what better way to do that than by taking a roller, slapping it down, and running as fast as Inklingly possible?

Of course, it’s glaringly obvious when roller users are still new to the game. Typical Rambling Rollers simply…run. They run up narrow corridors. They run into special attacks. They run directly at the opponent and are splatted down in a spray of bright ink, only to pop up and get running again.

New roller users are notoriously easy to shoot down, but if ignored they can do an awful lot of damage to the opposing team simply by painting literally every surface in sight. Take these guys out quickly to cripple their team, and keep them stuck in their own Turf.
