EA Will Not Release Titanfall 2 Until After April 2016

If you wanted more of Titanfall, you might have to wait a while.
At an earnings call from Electronic Arts, CFO Blake Jorgensen revealed that Titanfall 2 will not be available until the 2017 fiscal year.
“In terms of Titanfall, you should expect that’s not in fiscal 16,” Jorgensen said. “It’s more likely in fiscal 17.”
EA’s 2017 fiscal year falls between April 2016 and March 2017. That puts Titanfall 2’s earliest release date at April 1, 2016. No other details were given about the sequel.
Vince Zampella, co-founder of Respawn Entertainment, confirmed the sequel for Titanfall back in March.
The original game was hailed for its gameplay, but heavily criticized for a lack of single-player campaign. While Titanfall was released only for Xbox and PC, Zampella has said that the sequel will be a multi-platform title.
