Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate New 3DS Edition Coming To North America
We were all wondering what the special New 3DS edition would be for North America, and during this morning’s Nintendo Direct, we found out. A Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate New 3DS will be one of the special editions released in North America on February 13th and of course, it comes with Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate pre-installed. It will be a GameStop exclusive.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is a remake of Monster Hunter 4 on the 3DS, and the New 3DS functionality means the game will be even better than before. The C-stick allows for tighter camera control while moving, and with face tracking, the 3D graphics are expected to be immersive and lovely. The game also will include two weapon classes that were not in the original. Finally, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate on the 3DS will feature a multiplayer mode both local and online, so you can team up with your friends to hunt monsters and complete quests.
A demo for the game will be available soon, including all 14 weapon classes and a tutorial, and the demo will include local and online multiplayer as well. It is specifically designed to help new players get used to the game.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will be available on February 13th, at the same time as the New 3DS whether in bundle form or on its own, and is compatible with both the New 3DS and the regular 3DS. You can watch the new gameplay trailer here:
