Our Review

People who know me will be surprised to see this game on this list. I already mentioned in the introduction that multiplayer isn’t typically my thing, and card collecting games are also not my thing.

And yet, I’ve been logging into Blizzard’s card battle game almost daily now for months. The combination of strategy and luck, with some well worked-out gameplay balancing makes for a very fun experience.

The two expansions have also done a good job of creating new tactics and freeing up players to be more creative in their deck design. More importantly though, they haven’t completely screwed up what made the vanilla game so much fun.
