GameSided Game of the Year 2014 | Keith’s Picks
By Keith Myers
2014 was a year of great games. Next-gen finally became must-have, as true triple-A titles began showing up for the first time last fall. All those good games made voting for Game of the Year difficult this time around.
My Game of the Year vote is likely completely different than that of most of my colleges. That’s because I typically look for different things in game than a lot of people do.
For instance, I don’t typically play multiplayer games. I also don’t care much for first-person shooters. They’re just not my thing. I prefer an interesting story and immersive experience. More Uncharted. Less Call of Duty.
So this is my ballot. I enjoyed each of these games in 2014. If you have differing thoughts on any games listed in my Game of the Year list, make sure to leave a well-reasoned argument in the comments section at the end. You can also reach me at my Twitter account: @MyersNFL.
With that in mind, here is my list for Game of the Year 2014.
