Five Nights At Freddy’s 3 Is In Production

GameSpot noticed last night that if you travel to Scott Games’ website, the makers of Five Nights at Freddy’s 1 and 2, you’ll discover a new image with the filename “fnaf3.jpg”. Which more than likely stands for Five Nights at Freddy’s 3…

PC Gamer emailed Scott Games and confirmed in an email that Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 is currently in production. It is likely that it won’t take too long to be released, as the second Five Nights at Freddy’s game was released only a few months after the first. We can probably expect the third installment sometime in mid-2015, though that’s purely speculation.

Five Nights at Freddy’s and its sequel are both horror games taking place inside a pizzaria haunted by nightmare-inducing, animatronic animals who are out to get you. You play as the night guard, and try to survive through five nights of work, discovering clues about the creatures’ origins and purpose along the way. You can check out fellow staff writer Mytheos’ review of the second game here.
