PS Experience 2014: Sony Announces Kill Strain

At their special event this morning, PlayStation Experience 2014, Sony has announced, for the first time, their upcoming game Kill Strain.

Kill Strain is a top down, competitive multiplayer shooter coming to PS4 in late 2015. The game features a unique team structure, with 5 v 2 v 5 competition, and was described to be highly strategic, with friends becoming enemies and vice versa as play proceeds.

Sony will be placing the game in open development, with beta signups available on the Kill Strain website as soon as it goes live. The beta will begin in early 2015. No gameplay footage was shown, but the game is supposed to be playable at the Playstation Experience event, so expect to see footage and images appearing over the course of the weekend.
