This was a game of runs. The Bears jumped out to an early 17-0 lead, only to see the Patriots score 21 points in the second quarter to take a 21-17 lead into halftime.
After the break it was all Chicago again, but a pair of fumbles deep in Patriot territory meant that the Bears were only able to turn that dominance into seven points and three-point lead.
As if someone flipped a switch, the final eight minutes were dominated by the Patriots again. They were able to practically walk down the field for two quick scoring drives, and then run out final 3:41 of the clock on another possession at the end of the game.
