All Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire Mega Evolutions So Far
Mega Lopunny
The adorable kicking rabbit finally gains a fighting type when it mega evolves, along with an enormous boost to both attack and speed, making it a hard and fast hitter that can still topple easily if you can get a hit in. It gains the ability Scrappy.
Mega Gallade
Mega Gardevoir was introduced in Pokemon X and Y and used by the Champion–in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, Kirlia’s other evolution, Gallade, receives a mega that will be used by your rival, Wally. Mega Gallade is a psychic/fighting type with the ability Inner Focus that gains boosts to attack and speed with its mega evolution.
Mega Diancie
Diancie is a brand new legendary Pokemon only recently introduced to X and Y. In Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, this mythical rock fairy gains a big speed boost, smaller attack and special attack boosts, and loses defense and special defense when it mega evolves. Its ability is Magic Bounce.
Mega Audino
This normal/fairy type gains boosts to its already high defense and special defense, and the ability Healer. No word yet on whether or not downing a Mega Audino gives even more experience points than downing a regular one.
Mega Altaria
If you can find the Pokemon under all that cotton fluff, Mega Altaria is a Dragon/Fairy (a potentially deadly combination) with the ability Pixilate, gaining boosts to Attack, Special Attack, and Defense upon mega evolution.
Mega Pidgeot
Introduced this morning, the trusty bird from Kanto’s Route 1 finally gets the spotlight again with its own mega evolution. Mega Pidgeot has the ability No Guard, and it is thought that one or both of its Special stats is boosted when it mega evolves.
Mega Beedrill
The other new mega evolution from today is Mega Beedrill, another throwback to early Kanto. Mega Beedrill is a Bug/Poison type with Adaptability, and it is thought that its Attack and Speed are boosted when it evolves.
Mega Latios/Latias
The mega form of the two wandering birds was already discovered in Pokemon X and Y through unofficial methods, but was officially revealed just this morning in CoroCoro. The form is the same for both Pokemon, and has the ability Levitate. Mega Latios and Latias also come with the ability to ride them into the skies above Hoenn to capture Pokemon there, and even offer the chance to encounter legendaries such as Dialga and Palkia.
Mega Rayquaza
Said to mega evolve in a completely new way different from other Pokemon, Mega Rayquaza is a Dragon/Flying type with the new Delta Stream ability, creating powerful winds that stop all weather patterns and lessen super effective damage to flying types.
Primal Groudon
Primal reversion is somehow different from mega evolution, but aside from how the name sounds we don’t really know much else about it. Primal Groudon is on the box for Omega Ruby and gains the new ability Desolate Land, overtaking all other weather effects and drenching the field in unbreakable sunlight, making water type moves totally ineffective. Primal Reversion boosts Groudon’s Attack.
Primal Kyogre
From the box of Alpha Sapphire, Primal Kyogre is the only other primal reversion we know of. Its ability is Primordial Sea, which nullifies fire type attacks and covers the field in water, negating all other weather effects. Kyogre also receives a significant Special Attack boost.
