World of Warcraft Patch 6.0.2 Comes Out Next Week
Blizzard has just announced on their website that World of Warcraft Patch 6.0.2, The Iron Tide, will be making its debut on Tuesday, October 4. This is the pre-patch to the upcoming expansion Warlords of Draenor, which will appear on November 14.
The pre-patch has been downloading in the background for many WoW fans over the last week, so it’ll be easy for Azerothians to jump right into the new content. With the patch come plenty of changes, including most of the adjustments to the UI and gameplay that even those who don’t pick up the newest expansion will still experience.
6.0.2 will also feature the opening of the Dark Portal with an army of orcs pouring through, and several related questlines. They will take over Upper Blackrock Spire, reopening it as a temporary 5-man dungeon rehashing for lv. 90 players, all in preparation for the upcoming expansion.
Draenor promises to be interesting and exciting, with tons of new features and locations to explore, including new dungeons and raids, garrisons, improved graphics and character art, and a full retuning of all character classes. The plot is full of orcs, draenei, time travel, warring clans, and magic. Hope to see you in Azeroth!
