Cleveland seems to have been the victim of their own strategy in this game. After taking a 14-0 lead midway through the 2nd quarter, the Browns went ultra conservative on offense and just tried to run out the clock.
It almost worked, but Pittsburgh was able to nibble away at the lead bit by bit, eventually tying the game up with just over five minutes to go. At that point, Cleveland tried to open the offense back up again, but a Brian Hoyer interception gave Pittsburgh the win.
This was an ugly defensive game in which the two quarterback combined for three interceptions and only 248 yards.
