Low scoring games are the tend this week, and this game is no exception. San Diego simply couldn’t stop making mistakes and costing themselves points. Seven trips into the red zone generated only four field goals. The one San Diego touchdown came on a 42 yard touchdown pass from Phillip Rivers to Keenan Allen.
For the Raiders, Khalil Mack had the type of game that will get him defensive rookie of the year. 16 tackles, three sacks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and an interception. It’s too bad that Oakland only managed 216 yards of offense and wasted Mack’s effort in a loss.
