Baltimore Ravens @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
This is another low scoring game won by the team that wasn’t able to do anything offensively in the first half. Sometimes in the NFL it’s better to be lucky than good, and that description fits the Ravens here.
Tamps Bay was able to drive the ball inside the red zone six times, and managed to generate just seven points on those drives. (The field goal was a long kick from outside the zone). The other five drives ended in a missed field, two turnovers, and the end of both halves.
The Ravens didn’t play well offensively, but at least they avoided game-changing mistakes. Their only turnover, a Joe Flacco interception, happened near midfield. Even though Flacco only threw for 177 yards, it was enough to get Baltimore the win.
