GameCube Controller Adapter Works On More Than Just Smash (Update)

Good news! Remember the GameCube Controller Adapter we heard about a few days ago? It doesn’t just play Super Smash Bros. Kotaku reports that the GameCube Controller Adapter will be compatible with any games supported by the Wii Classic Controller, Wii Classic Controller Pro or Wii U Pro Controller.

The GameCube Controller Adapter comes with four ports and will work with games such as Mario Kart 8. The controller adapter by itself is selling for $19.99 from Nintendo, and they’re also selling brand new GameCube controllers (including one with the Smash Bros logo!) if you’ve already gotten rid of all your old ones. For die-hard Smash fans, a bundle will be sold with Super Smash Bros, a GameCube Controller Adapter, a GameCube controller, and a Mario Amiibo figure for $99.
