Another blowout, though probably not in the direction most people would have guessed. St. Louis runs up the score in this one, though that is mostly because of their defense.
Robert Quinn and the Rams’ defensive line picked up eight sacks, forced two fumbles, and led to a complete dismantling of Chip Kelly’s Philadelphia offense. Those 2 fumbles, combined with two interceptions, led to 24 of St. Louis’ points.
For the Eagles, the lone bright spot was running back LeShawn McCoy. He averaged 7.3 yards per carry, but only received 13 carries because the Eagles had to abandon the running game because of the score.
