The first of many blowouts this week, Chicago had no trouble in this game. Jay Cutler threw for 246 yards, while Matt Forte added 98 on the ground. The only thing that went wrong on offense for Chicago was a first quarter fumble.
Carolina was on the other end of the spectrum. They couldn’t get the running game going at all, averaging just 1.4 yards per run. Quarterback Cam Newton wasn’t any better, and finished with 118 yards through the air.
