If you like defensive football, then you’d have liked this game. Neither offense was able to get much going throughout the game, as the team’s combined for just 411 yards of total offense.
New York quarterback Geno Smith completed 20 passes, but for only 112 yards and no touchdowns. Running back Chris Ivory added just 37 rushing yards, in what was a dreadful game for the Jets’ offense.
The Lions weren’t much better, especially in the first half. Detroit managed just 2.1 yards per rushing attempt, and yet still managed 33 rushing attempts in this game.
