This game was over early, as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers turned two Matt Ryan interceptions into 14 points in the first half. The Falcons were never able to put together much of an offensive push to try and get back into the game after that.
Tampa Bay was led by their defense in this one, with five players combining for eight sacks. Linebacker Lavonte David led the way with 2.5 sacks to go with his seven tackles.
In an odd statistical anomaly, both quarterbacks ended this game with exactly 200 yards passing. It took Ryan 40 passing attempts to reach that total, while Tampa Bay quarterback Josh McCown did so with just 29 passing attempts.
