This was an ugly game for both passing offenses. Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed his 51 percent of his passes and was sacked six times, while Detroit quarterback Matthew Stafford completed just 46 percent and was sacked four times.
The Packers won this game because they was able to do two things that the Lions could not: run the ball and avoid turnovers. Eddie Lacy rushed for 121 yards for the Packers, which Reggie Bush and the Lions rushing attack combined for two turnovers and just 37 yards.
