This game was as one-sided as the score suggests. Washington used a pair of second-quarter Jacksonville turnovers to build a lead they would never give up.
Jacksonville was unable to to get anything going on offense and turned the ball over three times in total. Quarterback Chad Henne went through long stretches where he struggled to complete simple passes, even though he was rarely under pressure.
After taking the early lead, Washington leaned on their ground attack to try and shorten the game. It was a strategy that paid off, as running back Alfred Morris was able to grind out 199 yards and averaged 5.9 yards per carry.
