Pittsburgh Steelers @ Baltimore Ravens
It it tough to believe that the Ravens managed to score just once in this game given that they out gained the Steelers by almost 150 yards. Two redzone turnovers and a missed field goal certainly didn’t help, as the Ravens simply could not turn their offensive success into points.
Pittsburgh wasn’t able to do much offensively, but they managed to win the field position battle throughout most of the game. By pinning the Ravens deep and employing a bend-but-don’t-break defensive gameplan, they were able to keep the Ravens off the scoreboard for most of the game.
Baltimore quarterback Joe Flacco and the Baltimore offense actually had two possessions late in the fourth quarter and could have tied the game up. On those two possessions, Flacco went just 1-6 for 7 yards, and was sacked once on the play following his lone completion.
