TGS 2014: Resident Evil Revelations 2 Coming In 2015

Just now, Sony announced at their pre-TGS 2014 press conference that Resident Evil Revelations 2 will be released for PlayStation 4 in 2015. A demo will be available at the Tokyo Games Show. The game will feature new protagonists and a new storyline separate from RE’s previous heroes, Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine.

No game footage was played, but a live action trailer was shown along with the game title and release date.

Joystiq reports that box art for this game was released earlier in August on Microsoft’s website, which indicates that the game will likely make it to Xbox One as well.
