Gamescom 2014: Galactic Strongholds Coming To Star Wars: The Old Republic

EA announced this morning at Gamescom that they are adding player housing to Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Galactic Strongholds will allow players to create customizable strongholds on four different planets. Players are able to have more than one stronghold.

Along with strongholds, guild flagships will also be added. These multiplayer spacecraft can be used to conquer planets from across the galaxy and lend support to your friends.

Both of these new features will become available on August 19 for subscribers. Preferred early access will begin September 16, and the official launch for all players is on October 14. You can read more about strongholds on the official website.
