Assassin’s Creed: Unity Trailer Reveals Female Templar
Ubisoft has just released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed: Unity. You can watch it here:
This trailer, not surprisingly, does nothing to tell us what the gameplay is actually like. Rather, its purpose is to reveal a potential main character who is both female and, if you look closely at 2:05, a templar. Along with increasing hype for the game itself, perhaps Ubisoft hopes to quell some of the backlash that resulted when they revealed the lack of female assassins in Multiplayer mode.
IGN reports that this new character is named Elise, and that she will be the star of an upcoming book, also entitled Assassin’s Creed: Unity.
Here’s hoping she’s as interesting and prevalent in the story as the trailer makes her out to be.
