7 Features That Need To Return in Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire

With Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire only three months away, Pokemon lovers everywhere are eager to discover what the promised “spectacular new world” holds. Those of us who played the original games are eager to walk (and Surf) through Hoenn’s familiar haunts, and explore whatever new surprises the region hides.  Nintendo’s revelations about the games thus far have been cause for celebration: we know that Pokemon Contests, Mega Evolution, Pokemon-Amie, and (Super) Secret Bases will return.

Through six generations of Pokemon games, we’ve seen many interesting features come and go. While some disappeared for the better (I’m looking at you, Teachy TV) there are others that definitely need to make a comeback, and these remakes are the perfect time to do it. Here, then, are seven features that need to return in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
