I think the only thing holding him back from a 99 overall rating is due to name originality. That has to be it for Joe Thomas, as he has proven to be the very best on the offensive line at blocking the pass. His 99 Pass Block stat cannot be beat, which is the main reason why he’s the #1 overall offensive line player for the Madden 15 player ratings. Who knows, perhaps his abilities could even help the Manziel-led Browns to the playoffs. Crazier things have been done before.
