EA Sports notes that the Injury stat does not affect a player’s overall rating. He’s thankful for that, as his 73 attribute in that regard would definitely knock him down a few pegs. Hopefully, for him and the Patriots, he spends more time on the field this season, as he’s a proven double-digit TD and quadruple-digit reception yard threat when given the right opportunities. What pushes him near the top overall is his top stat rankings among tight ends, besting the fielding in Catching in Traffic (96), Strength (88) and Trucking (88), and is also the fourth-best in the Route Running stat.
