4. Ar Nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star: Ar Nosurge is a prequel to the long-running Ar Tonelico series, which if you aren’t that familiar with, plays like a pretty standard turn-based JRPG, but with a really heavy focus on alchemy to make just about everything from potions to equipment. I think the series overall has been a little hit and miss. Some entries have focused a little too much on the alchemy aspect to the detriment of the battles, but more often than not it’s been a really solid series, so I’m pretty excited about a prequel and the possibilities it entails with it tying in to the main series. Ar Nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star is due out on the PS3 September 23rd.
