9. Fantasy Life: This was given a pretty good spotlight in the Nintendo Direct at E3, and it looks great. There’s clearly a fair amount of customization, crafting, exploring and a lot of freedom to proceed how you want. It’s also from one of my favorite developers, Level-5. The guys behind my favorite PlayStation 2 RPG, Rogue Galaxy, and one of my favorite PS3 rpgs, Ni No Kuni. Fantasy Life is coming out in the very crowded month of October (the 24th), but I think it’ll find an audience among 3DS JRPG fans.
