"The BioShock franchise will not end with the shutdown of Irrational Games, as 2K confirm late on Friday that stewardship of the series will fall to 2K Marin.2K Marin have previously been responsible for BioShock 2, which was quite well received, but that was before the studio was hit with massive layoffs in the wake of the poor performance of The Bureau: XCOM Declassified.Speaking to analysts at a recent conference, Take Two’s megaboss Strauss Zelnick commented that “We haven’t given any color on how you should think about it yet except we do believe it’s beloved.”"
"Indie developer Nicalis has announced that the upcoming masochistic platformer 1,001 Spikes will indeed release simultaneously on all of its intended platforms this coming Tuesday. June 3 will see 1,001 Spikes release on PC, PlayStation 4, Vita, Mac, as well as on Wii U and 3DS with a few caveats.Nicalis notes that the Wii U and 3DS version contain some known issues that nearly caused a last-second delay. However, Nicalis is forgoing the delay and opting to release these versions on time, noting that Nintendo will have an update ready to push out within days."
