The Sims 4 and Steelseries Team Up With New Gaming Peripherals

The gaming peripheral company Steelseries announced today that they have teamed up with Electronic Arts to create exclusive peripherals for their upcoming release The Sims 4.  The Sims franchise has sold more than 175 million copies and is an important part of  the Electronic Arts brand.

Incorporating the peripheral expertise of Steelseries, and the successful franchise The Sims, the two companies collaborated on several exclusive peripherals.  They created a The Sims 4 Gaming Headset, Gaming Mouse and QCK Mouse Pad.

According to the press release, Steelseries will be offering an all-white collection with colored trimmings on the gaming headset and mouse to better reflect both the green Plumbob above each Sims character’s head. Additionally, the current emotional state of your Sim character will change the color of said Plumbob, offering a unique visual aesthetic for these devices.

The Sims 4 gaming headset will run you about $39.99, the gaming mouse costs $29.99 and the Sims-themed mousepad costs $19.99. All numbers in USD. Check out the headset above and gaming mouse below to see if they interest you.
