Warner Bros has just announced LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, coming to almost every major gaming device imaginable this Autumn. They have also released a trailer, teasing the comedic musings of LEGO Batman and Superman.

As IGN reports, LEGO Batman 3 takes place within the DC universe outside of Gotham, with Batman and a host of other DC characters teaming up to prevent Brainiac from destroying the Earth. He tries to accomplish this dastardly deed by harnessing the power of the Lantern rings in order to miniaturize cities across the realm. It’s up to you to collect them first and bring an end to Brainiac’s destruction.

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham will feature more than 150 different unique unlockable characters, making sure to bank on the vast realm of well-and-lesser-known DC heroes and villains. You can also expect to visit iconic DC locations, including the likes of the Batcave and the Justice League Watchtower.

With more than 100 million LEGO video games sold, it makes sense to keep churning them out. Bringing them out on all platforms just means that more children and adventurous adults can bask in the awesomeness (which everything is) of the series. Additionally, with the LEGO movie being such a success, the stock in LEGO as a brand has never been higher.

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham will be released later this Fall on PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, and PS Vita. Check out the announcement trailer above.
