Plus other consoles!
Blizzard has just announced via press release that the Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition release date for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360 is August 19th.
“The console-exclusive Ultimate Evil Edition includes all of the content from the original Diablo III,” the press release notes, “As well as new features and updates from the critically acclaimed Reaper of Souls expansion. With six customizable character classes, five engrossing acts, and countless hours of gameplay, this all-inclusive package is a treasure trove of fast-paced demon-slaying action and cooperative adventure.”
Thought to be PlayStation timed exclusive around the launch window of the PS4, due to its release 9 months later it seems that Blizzard will focus on recuperating on their investment into developing for console API’s. That’s more than fine for the consumer; access to well-reviewed games across most console users (excluding Nintendo consoles) should be a given for games developed by third party companies.
Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition will be released on August 19th for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360.
