Watch Dogs Download Size Less Than 21 GB On Xbox One

One of the fairer concerns, when it comes to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the Wii U, is the limited size of the out-of-box hard drives. 500 GB each for the PS4 and Xbox One and 32 GB max for the Wii U means there will be a lot of HDD management and purchasing of external/internal/flash drives throughout the upcoming generation of gaming. What does help is when new games released in small downloads, as is the case with the Watch Dogs download size on Xbox One.

As you can see on the Xbox Store, downloading Watch Dogs on an Xbox One console will require only 20.42 gigabytes of space. For an open world game, with a boasted 35-40 hours of completion time, less than 21 GB seems fairly small for the value of how long one can play the game in the virtual space of a replicated Chicago, Illinois. Compare that to the linear, mission-map-based gameplay of Wolfenstein: The New Order and its 47 GB full install on Xbox One and PS4 and you’ll wonder just how Ubisoft is capable of bringing their file sizes down on their games.

There’s no word yet on the Watch Dogs download size on the PS4 or the delayed Wii U version, but we’ll update the piece once we are sure.
