8. Star Wars: Dark Forces

Dark Forces has a special place in my heart, mainly because it is the first appearance of Kyle Katarn, the influential Rebel Alliance operative responsible for obtaining the plans for the Death Star. It’s also one of the earlier first-person shooter games within the Star Wars universe, as players used blasters and mines to defeat enemies. What solidified the game as a strong entry was the richness in its story, one that would set off the great “Jedi Knight” series.
