Octodad: Dadliest Catch Blurbing His Way To PS4

According to the game’s creative director on the PlayStation Blog, Octodad: Dadliest Catch will be coming to the PS4 starting Tuesday, April 22nd. The PS4 edition is set to feature new changes based on feedback provided from those who played the game on the PC.

In addition to just being playable on the PS4, Octodad will also allow for a variety of motion-based PlayStation controls. One or two people can play together as one character using combinations like multiple DualShock 4 controllers, PlayStation Move, double PlayStation Moves and PlayStation Move plus Nav controller. It’s always fun to play with multiple options, and when the focus of the gameplay is based on not rousing suspicions and pretending to be a human, flailing around with multiple controllers to act as one just increases the silliness.

Octodad: Dadliest Catch is headed for the PlayStation Store starting April 22nd. The first week will feature a discount for PlayStation Plus owners, reducing the price to $11.99 until April 29th, as opposed to the regular price of $14.99. Check out the announcement trailer below to see if this game is attuned to your tastes.
