Jade Has A New Look In Beyond Good & Evil 2
MyNintendonews.com and other outlets have picked up on this new tweet showing the first glimpse we have seen in a long time of anything from the very long in-development Beyond Good & Evil 2.
The original Beyond Good & Evil came out over a decade ago to high critical acclaim, but incredibly poor sales. A teaser trailer for a sequel popped up years ago, but we haven’t heard or seen much since then, leaving the fate of the highly anticipated sequel in doubt. Of course this reveals virtually nothing about the game aside from the fact that yes, it does indeed exist and is being worked on in some capacity. It is no promise of the game coming out anytime soon, if ever.
Hopefully we will get to see a new entry in the Beyond Good & Evil franchise. Not only was it an excellent title, but it was also originally intended to be a trilogy, and the first game ends on quite a cliffhanger. That’s a bit of a spoiler, but it’s also a fairly old game at this point. I really enjoyed the title, and if you either want to experience it yourself or remember how good it was, it’s available as an HD release on both the Xbox 360 and the PS3, so do yourselves a favor and grab it. It’s arguably the best Zelda-esque game ever made.
So what are your thoughts Gamesided readers? Excited about the possibility of a new BG&E game, or is there little hope for the franchise? Would a fresh reboot be a better option? Let us know in the comments!
