DrinkBox Studios Announces Severed For Mobile Platforms In 2015
By Chris Lacey
DrinkBox Studios has revealed their next title and it’s called Severed. This game is an open world where players can not only defeat their enemies, but attach different body parts of their fallen foes to themselves, and this will allow the players to gain new powers.
DrinkBox describes the game as a “cross between Mega Man, Infinity Blade and Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out,” the non-linear aspect will give players control over the upgrade paths, allowing for battles with a variety of enemies with different strengths and weaknesses. Magic can also be used to blind enemies or unlock doors.
They’re planning to deliver a gaming experience of around eight hours. Severed is set to come out for mobile devices in 2015, but DrinkBox has ideas of expanding it to other consoles that support gestures, like 3DS and Vita.
