Tomodachi Life Coming To North America, Europe

Tomodachi, the massively successful fantasy life game franchise in Japan, is coming to North America and Europe this spring. Tomodachi Life will put players in control of building their own fantasy world.

From Nintendo:

"Everyone you know, and everyone you wish you knew, should prepare to meet their Mii maker – you! – as you build a bustling fantasy population of friends, family and even celebrities, all in one wild and hilarious world. The real emotional connection you already share with your Mii characters will keep you glued to the drama, intrigue and hilarity that ensues as everyone goes about their extraordinary daily lives, evolving and interacting in unpredictable and often uproarious ways."

The series has sold 5.5 million copies in Japan, and Nintendo is clearly hoping for the same success in North America and Europe. Nintendo promises that more information regarding the game’s release will come in the near future.

The game releases for 3DS and 2DS handheld consoles on June 6.
