Smash Bros Nintendo Direct: Smash Run Announced

twNintendo has announced a new game mode coming to the new Super Smash Bros called Smash Run.

This mode, which will be available exclusively on the 3DS version of the game, pits four players against one another in a five-minute rush to collect different power ups — speed, power, attack, defense, etc. — by defeating a variety of enemies on an expansive battlefield. After the five minutes are up, players then head to the battlefield to fight each other in a contest to see who built up the best fighter.

Super Smash Bros releases this summer on 3DS and winter on Wii U.
