Goat Simulator Getting Local Multiplayer

facebooktwitterreddit

Local multiplayer is coming to Goat Simulator in a free update next month.

Patch 1.1 will include multiplayer, a new map, new achievements, new goats and much more. Game creator Armin Ibrisagic managed to offer insight as to why the game is getting local splitscreen multiplayer, but not online gameplay.

“As we’ve announced before, online multiplayer doesn’t quite work with Goat Simulator since we can’t synchronize the physics we’re using across different computers, but local co-op with splitscreen should work!” he stated.

The full patch announcement can be found here.
