Diablo III: Reaper of Souls Sells Over 2.7 Million Copies

Blizzard has announced that Diablo III: Reaper of Souls has sold over 2.7 million copies in the game’s first week. Also in the announcement was that players have completed the story portion of the expansion an astounding 1.5 million times.

Reaper of Souls is the first expansion pack to the hack-n-slash adventure that released in May of 2013. The pack adds a fifth act to the story as well as brand new end-game content which includes an adventure mode and bounties. This follows up the removal of the game’s auction house and a new item system called “Loot 2.0”
