Unlike most of the games on this list, you don’t have to track down an old console and a copy of the game to play this underrated classic right now, it’s available on the PS3 as a “PS2 classic”. But the fact is that this wonderfully weird game has never gotten the success it deserves. From the mind of game genius Tim Schafer, it essentially is to video games what Nightmare Before Christmas is to movies. Delightfully inventive, comically fun and occasionally dark, it’s simply one of if not his best title. In other words buy it now so it sees a huge spike in sales, then buy the HD re-release they make because of those sales.
