6. Crimson Skies

Airplane combat games seem to be a rare breed. Excellent airplane combat games basically don’t seem to exist. Except for Crimson Skies. It handled wonderfully in a fun arcade-like way that really hadn’t been seen before or since and why this excellent game never got a follow-up I have no clue. Hopefully somebody will realize it’s prime for a revival.
