GDC Awards 2014: Grand Theft Auto V Wins Best Technology

Grand Theft Auto V, developed by Rockstar North, has won the award for Best Technology at the 14th Annual GDC Awards in San Francisco. The game beat out Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag (Ubisoft Montreal/Ubisoft), The Last Of Us (Naughty Dog/Sony), Killzone: Shadow Fall (Guerrilla Games/Sony) and Tearaway (Media Molecule/Sony).

It’s the first award of the night for Grand Theft Auto V and Rockstar Games.
