Titanfall 6v6 Multiplayer Isn’t Changing

With all of the next-gen capabilities like cloud-based gaming and higher-powered machines, many fans were disappointed when they found out that Titanfall’s multiplayer would be capped at six vs. six. Though there were likely those hoping that a post-launch update would add more players to games, Respawn Entertainment has come out and squashed hope of that happening.

Producer Drew McCoy, while answering fan questions, stated that changing the amount of players in a game would negatively affect how the game plays.

“Any change, especially playercount, is a huge deal for a tightly designed game like this. More than you could imagine,” he said.
