Rental Options Appear on PlayStation Store

In the PlayStation Store’s latest weekly update, an interesting feature was found by some users that seemed to show rental options for games. The rental options, however, didn’t work.

Thanks to PSN Stores, an options for 1-day, 7-day and 30-day were shown for the PS3 game Catherine (pictured above). When PSN Stores attempted the rental purchase, it didn’t work, but they did find “Catherine PS Now” in the site’s transaction history.

If this is, in fact, a look into how PS Now will be set up, it seems like a pretty easy user interface with pretty flexible options for those not wanting to buy a game outright. PS Now is expected to launch at some point this summer.
