Ashley Johnson has won the award for Best Performer at the 2014 BAFTA Game Awards for her work as Ellie fromThe Last of Us. Johnson beat out Courtnee Draper (Elizabeth fromBioShock Infinite), Ellen Page (Jodie fromBeyond: Two Souls), Kevan Brighting (The Narrator fromThe Stanley Parable), Steven Ogg (Trevor Phillips fromGrand Theft Auto V) and Troy Baker (Joel fromThe Last of Us) for the award, which was presented by Ralph Ineson, who pretended (I think) to be disappointed about not being nominated himself. Johnson was not on hand to pick up her trophy.
It’s the fifth award of the night forThe Last of Us, which converted on 50 percent of its ten nominations (though it had two in this one category).
